I honestly don't know how long it takes me to build a model like that one. I work very slowly. It takes so long that I'd probably be embarrassed to say how long it takes if I actually knew. :-)

I work on them over a long period of time, only for an hour or so at a sitting. Looking again at the PDF instructions, I'd guess that it takes me an average of at least an hour per step, and there are 30 steps in the instructions. I score all of the fold lines before cutting out the parts which definitely adds to the time but makes the finished edges straighter.

It might be worth me mentioning that there's another entry on my site about another Front Mission model, with a photo and links to the PDFs. The entry is here: http://studionebula.com/blog/2007/08/27/another-front-mission-4-paper-model

This is a piloted mecha, seen in all incarnations of Front Mission, and widely considered to be a classic and a fan-favorite. According to game backstory, the Zenith is an Aussie-made mecha, designed to excel at using shotguns and close combat. All appearances of the Zenith in the Front Mission games involve it holding a shotgun of some sort.

The main site is here:
http://http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fm/

It's hard to find the model from within the site, however. Try these links:
http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fm/FM4_Zenith.pdf
http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fm/FM4_Weapon.pdf
http://www.square-enix.co.jp/fm/FM4_Zenith_manual.pdf

I got those links from http://www.3dpapermodel.com.tw/ ; they appear to still work.

Check back in a few days--I finished another model from the same game; I'll get pictures posted in the next day or so.
