Nice to see people still have good taste in music even after all these years. In fact it's interesting seeing this as I just re-bought several cd's I had in the 90's from an Amazon used cd shop in Cali as my copies had long since bitten the dust and I couldn't find mp3's for sale anywhere. There's another Steve Hillage album called "FOR TO NEXT - AND NOT OR" [actually, "AND NOT OR" was originally a limited edition freebie included with the first release of "FOR TO NEXT" but they were issued together as one CD] that came after "Rainbow Dome Musik" and is transitional in style between the ambient "Rainbow Dome Musik" and the danceable, rhythm-oriented material of System 7. Interestingly enough, both of those albums were done by the same people that comprise System 7: Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy. “Rainbow Dome Musik” is a classic; I have it also. If I have to pick favorites, I'd probably say "Seventh Wave" and "Power of Seven", although "Encandato" is definitely in the running. The early ones whose titles are somewhat ambiguous (I think that they were titled differently in the U.S. and U.K.) with the green and orange covers, respectively, are also very good. I don't think that there's anything by them that I don't like, although I don't play the "System 7 Express" remix CD very often--but it's mostly remixes by other people.
