Our burgundy day lillies came into their own this season but it seems that they went entirely unphotographed. Oh well; they&#8217;ll be back next year. The star this year may be the hibiscus, which apparently benefitted from&#8211;or was at least undaunted by&#8211;its first pruning, which I did last fall.
