It&#8217;s called Rough Rider and it&#8217;s a stereo compressor.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"270\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"http:\/\/studionebula.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/image-11.jpg\" width=\"438\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It has a warm sound and a vintage quality, and when pushed hard will pump like crazy. It&#8217;s not the be-all and end-all of compressors (as if there were such a thing) but it probably sounds better than the compressor that came with your DAW.
