Microsoft isn’t the only organization thinking about big multi-touch systems. There’s a page here that documents a similar system built by a group of programmers and artists in Berlin. The “MTC At the Superbooth” demo video is pretty neat, although I can’t really tell what the connection is between the stuff moving around on the display and the audio.
