It would probably be more obvious that it’s a DR-2d if I had put the other end in my mouth so that the jog wheel was visible, but I was afraid of getting spittle in the microphones.
The setup was that Adam was asking all kinds of questions about the mics and preamps and stuff, and I finally said “It’s the best sounding recording setup that you can fit in your mouth.” That seemed to put it in perspective. 🙂
